If you use Easy Grade Pro [All Programs --> Accessories --> Teacher Tools --> Easy Grade Pro],

we recommend that the working copy of your gradebook file be saved on your D drive, and the “back-up copy” be saved in your My Documents folder. Please ask me if you need help.

 

If you want to check your email while in the computer labs or other public computers, you must use the website access; the Outlook program is currently only configured for your tablet.

 

If you are preparing for a project that involves technology which you aren’t totally confident using, I would be happy to train 3-4 of your tech-savvy students to be confident with it, in order to serve as helpers during the project. This model has proved to be effective at other schools.

 

If you haven’t yet moved old files to storage, here is a video to show you how. It is important to clean out your My Documents so that you can log on and off more quickly. As David mentioned, think of it as a briefcase, and think of your Storage directory as a filing cabinet.
