Turning off the Touch Pad
Some people don’t like the Touch-Pad on the notebooks, because if you touch it by accident (when typing), the mouse will jump to another part of the screen. Elena now has a way to turn it off—she can run a file over the network to do this for you. Please send her an email if you would like her to do this. If you have it turned off, you must connect a mouse to the laptop.
Google Dictionary
Did you know that Google is also a dictionary? If you type define: and then a word, you will get a quick list of definitions with links to the source. For example, type define: plagiarism and you’ll get:
To appropriate the
writings, graphic representations or ideas of another person and
represent them as one's own, (that is, without proper attribution).
Plagiarism is a form of intellectual property violation.
onlineethics.org/glossary.html
The act of taking
someone else's ideas, words, or writing, and attempting to pass them
off as your own. Severe penalties are attached to plagiarism.

(or part of it) of another person and claiming it as your own.

Deleting Old Homework
The video for middle school teachers showing how to delete old homework has an audio narration. If you watched the video and didn’t hear the narration, it probably means your volume was turned off, or your speakers aren’t working. If you want to watch the video again, turn up the volume and click here (do this at school, not at home).
