Note on Cleaning up Your Files
Images in Email
For
on-campus email, you can add pictures or animated images within the body of your
email by copying and pasting them from a web site, or by inserting them from
clip art (Insert
à
Picture
à
Clip Art). Please be
aware that when sending email to people off-campus, or to homework central,
it is best to avoid using images or backgrounds within the body of your email
because it prevents some users from accessing that email message. It is fine to
send images as attachments.
Move or
Automatically Resize Toolbars
To move toolbars around, you drag them (click and hold mouse button) from the vertical bar at the beginning of the toolbar. If you double-click that vertical bar, it will cause the full toolbar to be displayed.

Note on Cleaning up Your Files
If you are cleaning up your files or your desktop, make sure you are logged onto only one computer at that time.
[For example, if you were logged in to a computer in your classroom, and then you came to the MMC, cleaned up your files and logged off, and then went back to your classroom computer and logged off (the unclean version), the server will take that last logoff (unclean) as the most recent copy of your stuff.]
