Troubleshooting Printing Problems If your document does not print, you might get a pop-up message on the computer screen telling you about a printing error. If the printer needs paper, please put some paper into the printer tray (on the bottom of the printer). If that was the problem, you may have to press a continue button on the printer or on the computer screen to continue the print job. If that was not the problem, open the printer icon that appears either in your system tray, or by going to: Start... Settings... Printers, and click on the printer. If one of the documents in the printer queue has an error it will need to be deleted. Please call the technology office at ext. 171 for help with this. If the printer says it is low on toner, don't worry about it, it will continue printing. If it says the toner is out, please call the technology office at ext. 171 for toner replacement. If a piece of paper has gotten jammed inside the printer please ask an adult for help. The adult will open the various doors of the printer. If the paper is visible, the adult will try to extract the paper by pulling it gently but firmly.
