Help on how to check AOL History

AOL users can take advantage of a free AOL service called "AOL Guardian" which will send you email updates on which web sites your children visit, based on their screen-name.

Please go to
Settings -->
Parental Controls -->
"AOL Guardian"
for more information on this service.

To manually check which sites have been visited, you can go on the AOL menu to
Settings -->
Preferences -->
"Internet Properties"

which brings up the window below... then choose:
Settings -->
"View Files"

The resulting list of files will give you a sense of what web sites have been accessed, because the web site names are included in the file names.

Note that it is possible to delete a computer’s History, by choosing to
"Clear History"
(highlighted in yellow)

To check the sites visited most recently, click on the drop-down arrow located to the right of the web site address.
