To Turn Off Personalized Menus
In Microsoft Word and other Office Applications

Click the menu item "Tools" then click "Customize"

On the Options Tab, check the box for "Always Show Full Menus"

Click OK
On the
Start Menu

Right-click on top of the word "Start" and choose "Properties"

Click the "Customize" button
-
In the menu of items, scroll to the bottom and uncheck the box for personalized menus.

At the top of the same list, I recommend turning on "Display Logoff" and "Display Favorites"

Then click OK, and click OK again.
