To Turn Off Personalized Menus


In Microsoft Word and other Office Applications

  • Click the menu item "Tools" then click "Customize"

  • On the Options Tab, check the box for "Always Show Full Menus"

  • Click OK

 

On the Start Menu

  • Right-click on top of the word "Start" and choose "Properties"

  • Click the "Customize" button

  • In the menu of items, scroll to the bottom and uncheck the box for personalized menus.

  • At the top of the same list, I recommend turning on "Display Logoff" and "Display Favorites"

  • Then click OK, and click OK again.
